With life being the way it is these days, and my daydreaming about my characters and their plots bugging me, I took a deep look into how I can make it possible for me to write again on a regular basis. I have come up with the conclusion that is probably easier for me to take on my posts in more of a "story" format. This is to say not to log in and out with the characters but rather just post a continuous story when it concerns my characters.
This doesn't mean I won't be interacting with other writers, just that I think if I work on a chapter-style format with Taro and Maseo's back-story, and the Madeline/Leviticus story, I can get more written and be able to stay in more of a flow.
There is so much story I want to tell with my characters, and I have been itching to get back to telling it.
Well, it's a full month into 2009 and not a single post. I just couldn't stand it anymore!
I know, we're all busy, work and kids and life in general. I'm as bad as anyone, not casting any stones here. Just wanted to say I miss all you guys! I miss our stories and the good times, and I think of you often! Hope everyone is doing well, had great holidays, and will have the best year ever in '09.
Caught Jimson online recently. He finished school and moved back home, which is the good news. The bad news is that his computer didn't survive the move. So....
What I've done is to kind of "skim past" things in Coney Island, so that we can move on with some other things. Several things were left open ended so that they can be tended retro when possible. And we shall keeping hoping the magic smoke is somehow restored to Jimson's machine soon so that he can rejoin us.
And have a great Thanksgiving, everyone! Eat till you can't move, indulge in the excess, scream at some guys in tight pants on the tv screen, whatever, just enjoy it!
